This infographic is designed to give a quick overview of what the Department of Psychology and it's major has to offer students.  Icons are chosen to catch the attention and communicate the subject of the line quickly.

A left alignment gives a strong border to the poster.  Contrast is shown in both color and font style. Proximity is used to show distinctly the different parts of the poster.

A Simple Infographic
This infographic is designed to easily demonstrate the upcoming changes to the Psychology major requirements.

Alignment: A simple left align with a few intentional outliers to break the monotony.
Contrast:  A strong contrast in color is used to a) be easily readable and b) to evoke thoughts of a schoolhouse chalkboard.  The font was chosen specifically to enhance this chalkboard feel.
Repetition:  The same organization is used in the old requirements and the new requirements to make the comparison easier to see.
Proximity:  Requirement numbers are grouped in a logical format to show relationship.

Overall: I chose these colors to stand out against many colored signs and fliers that students see.  I believe the chalkboard feel will attract attention as well as the larger font for the sub-heading "requirements are changing".  Although this infographic does not use icons or symbols, the large numbers are meant to be a graphic in and of themselves.
