3D Rendering

This is one of those process pieces.  Hopefully the process will explain the details that go into creating a 3D rendering.  I began with the background (grass) image and then designed a soda can label detailing elements of earning a degree at USU.  I tried to keep the feel true to a real soda can label including Nutrition (Academic) facts, Caution, ingredients, and a bar code.  Colors were chosen to match the USU school colors.  Text manipulation was done on the "Aggie" and "Pride" text to warp them in to a more fluid, banner type presentation.  The large "A" behind these words did not come out well in the 3D version and was discarded in further versions.  I wanted to create a very casual feel for the can, as if someone had dropped it in the grass.
