Combining a movie and a still image? Awesome idea. This example was videoed from a bridge crossing the Black Smith Fork river in Nibley, Utah on April 20, 2017. It was a seriously rainy evening, filling the river up nicely. However, with the use of a mask to hide all but the river in the video layer, the rain disappears and changes the whole feel of the weather. I added a title over the river which fades in an out as the video part of the Gif file loops. Although the title doesn't ever fully fade out, this is intentional to mimic the movement of the water. Also, the alignment of the title rides along the bank of the river, to blend with the shape of the river.
