Picture
This image was prepared to make students aware of the Tuition & Fee Deadline.  Student courses will be dropped if they are not paid for by this date.
The image is designed using several design elements including use of the rule of thirds grid.
Contrast: Contrasting colors (school colors) were chosen to make the test really pop from the background in both sections.
Repetition: Arrows leading the eye to the actual deadline are repeated.   The shape of the "purged" word is designed to repeat the shape of the garbage can.
Alignment: Center alignment is used in the deadline box.
Proximity:  This image has two separate areas of focus.  The purge theme is grouped closely to complete that thought.  The Deadline text is grouped closely to indicate the relationship between those words.  Although proximity is important in this image, it is strongly supported by the opposing background colors chosen.
